1. THE OWNER OF THE WEBSITE

Bø Sommarland AS  (corporate registration number 936 387 136) is the owner of the domain https://www.sommarland.no, including the website and its content (the "website").  

Bø Sommarland makes the website available to users to provide information about the products and offers of Bø Sommarland and PARQUES REUNIDOS GROUP, to allow users to purchase entrance tickets and other tickets available on the website and, where appropriate, to make available various contract forms, newsletters, competitions, games, surveys, etc. from Bø Sommarland and PARQUES REUNIDOS GROUP.

Please note that products and services offered on the website are to be sold by Bø Sommarland AS, a subsidiary of PARQUES REUNIDOS GROUP, which operates through the website and is responsible for administering Bø Sommarland, including the sale and/or administration of all products and/or services related to Bø Sommarland. By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to follow Bø Sommarland's park regulations , and to make everyone in the group aware of the current regulations. Violation of guidelines and regulations may result in expulsion from the park without refund.  

2. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A) INFORMATION BEFORE PURCHASE

Bø Sommarland's General Terms and Conditions set out the general conditions that apply to the services offered by Bø Sommarland on the website, and in particular services currently provided by PARQUES REUNIDOS GROP, the sale of certain types of entrance tickets and season passes for leisure parks managed by PARQUES REUNIDOS GROUP, and other products offered on the website.  

The customer must be 18 years old to shop at sommarland.no. Anyone purchasing tickets for children under 18 is responsible for them. Children under 14 can only visit the park accompanied by an adult. 

The customer is responsible for providing correct information, including correctly spelled name, address, email address or telephone number. Otherwise, the customer may be charged for costs that may arise as a result of errors/corrections of these. 

When purchasing a Platinum season pass, information is automatically transferred to our parking service provider. (As of 2026, this is Parkly AS).

Bø Sommarland reserves the right to close attractions and activities in whole or in part due to circumstances that make it unviable to remain open. In the event of closing activities in the park or shortening opening hours, the ticket will not be refunded. Nor will a discounted price be given for the ticket. 

The prices for each product (including taxes) are stated in NOK, and the value of any promotions and discounts will be specified on the website at all times. When you make a purchase, the total price will be divided into any promotions/discounts used, and other costs for additional services, or the use of different payment methods. If you choose to use Klarna Bank AB (or another third-party financing provider) to finance your purchase, additional costs may apply. Any agreement you enter into with a third-party financing provider and any costs associated with this are not subject to these general terms and conditions of purchase.

It is free to browse information on the website.  

You confirm that (i) the information on the website, (ii) the general information in the product catalog and (iii) information about other products or services available on the website, and the general terms and conditions of purchase, are sufficient for you to give valid and informed consent to any purchases.

1. Procedure

To purchase any of the products and/or services available on the Website, you must follow the instructions provided at each stage of the purchase process in the BUY section of the Website and complete an electronic form with the required information. By completing these forms, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the general terms and conditions of purchase and any specific terms and conditions of purchase. You declare to have understood and accepted that this is necessary to access the products and services offered in the “purchase” section of the Website. 

Your rights and obligations during and after the purchase are subject to these general terms and conditions, any relevant special terms and conditions for the purchase:  https://www.sommarland.no/ansvarserklaering , and the park rules:  https://www.sommarland.no/parkregler- . Additional terms and conditions will apply if you choose to finance your purchase from a third-party financing provider – such terms and conditions are set out in a separate agreement with the relevant financing provider, and PARQUES REUNIDOS GROUP assumes no obligations in this regard.

Purchases will be formalized by completing all the steps in the PURCHASE section of the website. These general terms and conditions and any special terms will form part of the agreement with you when you complete and submit the purchase details indicated in the PURCHASE section. 

By using the website and using any of the services available, you are deemed to have accepted the website's general terms of use, the general terms of purchase and any special terms made available to you. 

2. Documentation and language

These general terms and conditions of purchase are available at any time in the PURCHASE section of the website. You are free to print and save a copy of the terms and conditions. 

If you have purchased admission tickets via the Website, we will email you a receipt of purchase (“the ticket”) with a unique code within twenty-four (24) hours of completing your purchase. Damaged or otherwise tampered tickets will be void. 

Unless otherwise expressly stated in the specific terms and conditions of the specific purchase, entrance tickets purchased on the website will only be valid for the date shown on the ticket. 

If you purchase anything other than admission tickets, such as season tickets or other products and/or services on the Site, you will also receive an email within twenty-four (24) hours with a purchase receipt. Prior to purchase, the Site will inform you of any special terms and conditions that apply to that specific purchase.

Once the online purchase has been completed and the relevant ticket has been issued, no changes or refunds will be permitted, unless otherwise stated in section 1.5 of the Terms and Conditions or the special terms and conditions for the relevant purchase. 3. Technical means 

The website is equipped with JavaScript to ensure data validation and help you complete the purchase process.

4. Changes to Terms and Website

These terms and conditions apply from the date of the last update indicated in the document and until further notice. PARQUES REUNIDOS GROUP and/or Bø Sommarland reserve the right to modify the general and specific terms and conditions at any time in accordance with consumer legislation. Changes will enter into force immediately upon publication and shall only apply to users who use the website after the effective date of the changes. PARQUES REUNIDOS GROUP and/or Bø Sommarland will, however, respect rights acquired by users before the effective date of such changes.  

Before purchasing any products or services, you should read the general terms and conditions of purchase and any special conditions. PARQUES REUNIDOS GROUP and/or Bø Sommarland reserve the right to change the website's layout, location, content and terms of use at any time. 

5. Changes and refunds

Unless explicitly stated in the specific terms and conditions for the specific purchase and/or service, there is no right of exchange or refund for products with a specified expiration date (date or period). This also applies if you have financed your purchase through Klarna Bank AB or equivalent.

When purchasing dated group tickets and/or Sommarland codes, the following purchase terms apply; Tickets are only valid for use on the selected regular opening day in the current season. Tickets cannot be transferred to other dates or future seasons, nor can they be refunded.

When purchasing tickets, season tickets and/or VIP products online, you do not have a right of withdrawal, cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act, Section 22, letter m. It is stated here that the right of withdrawal does not apply to agreements for “(…) services related to leisure activities when the agreement stipulates a specific date or a specific period for the performance of such services”. Services that are delivered at a specific time or within a specific period apply to all our tickets and products. 

You can cancel purchased online tickets, VIP products and season passes within 24 hours of purchase, if they have not already been used. If cancelled within 24 hours, a full refund can be given. 

It is not possible to change the date on a ticket if there are less than 72 hours until the visit. If you change the date on a ticket more than 72 hours (3 days) in advance, a change fee of NOK 75 per ticket will be charged. Changes are subject to availability of tickets on the relevant date.

It is not possible to change the date on VIP products, nor for a change fee. 

No compensation is provided in the event of bad weather, long waiting times, outages, pandemics or other force majeure events.

6. Prices and payment method

The price of the selected products and/or services is displayed before purchase and includes any taxes. If a discount code is to be used for a reduced price, this must be entered and validated before the final purchase is made. Therefore, remember to check that the correct discount has been obtained before payment.

The website supports the following payment methods: VISA, Mastercard, Klarna, Afterpay and Vipps. 

Bø Sommarland guarantees that we have adequate measures and comply with applicable technology security standards, such as "Verisign". Access to transaction services and services involving the collection of personal data is done in a secure environment using the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol with 128-bit encryption with high security. This ensures that all content transmitted is only understandable to the "client" computer and the Sommarland server. Users can be assured that they are in a secure area if a closed padlock is displayed in the status bar of the browser. The security of the Sommarland servers is guaranteed by a certificate issued by VeriSign. This certificate guarantees that users communicate their data to a Bø Sommarland server and not to another third party.  

As part of our work against fraud prevention, Bø Sommarland will cooperate with all payment platforms used to purchase products available on the website, and with competent authorities, by releasing necessary information about any transactions and as stated in the Norwegian legislation in force at any time.

7. Incorporation of the special purchase conditions and park rules

By purchasing any product on the website, you agree to the general terms and conditions of purchase, any special terms and conditions applicable to your purchase and the park rules which can be found here:  https://www.sommarland.no/parkregler- . Please read the park rules carefully before proceeding with your purchase.

8. Abuse

It is important that the customer treats the online ticket as a security, and ensures that it is not copied or printed multiple times. If Bø Sommarland has reason to believe that there has been misuse/forgery, such as copying of tickets, etc., the customer may be asked to provide identification. We therefore ask that you bring your payment card or other valid photo ID to the park. The entrance ticket is personal, and one entrance ticket cannot be used by more than one person. Although it is possible to print a new ticket, you may be denied entry to the park if someone else has entered your ticket number before you. The ticket is therefore valid for the number of times defined for the ticket - and any attempt to misuse/forgery of tickets is considered forgery and will be reported to the police. If you have received a ticket marked "Invitation", we would like to point out that the ticket cannot be resold as this is a free ticket. Misuse may result in the ticket being cancelled. 

All Inclusive: If Bø Sommarland discovers/suspects misuse of All Inclusive, the band will be confiscated. 

Unused tickets/revoked season tickets/revoked VIP are not refundable. 

Employees at Bø Sommarland are not allowed to purchase All Inclusive, and the ribbon will be confiscated without refund. 

B) COMPLAINT

If you are not satisfied with the purchased product and/or service, you can use Bø Sommarland's quality and service standard guarantee and, depending on the circumstances, receive a refund. Such inquiries can be directed to informasjon@sommarland.no . 

 

3. SPECIAL TERMS OF PURCHASE

A) PRODUCT-SPECIFIC TERMS 

SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO ADMISSION TICKETS PURCHASED ONLINE

  • Your entrance ticket only gives access to Bø Sommarland Water Park.
  • Do not tear, tamper with, copy or otherwise destroy your ticket. In such circumstances, you may be denied entry to the park.
  • You can access the park directly or by showing the park staff your paper ticket or the barcode/QR code downloaded from your ticket purchase. QR code access is only allowed with the downloaded code and not with a picture or screenshot.
  • Your ticket will be valid for the date or period shown, and within the opening hours listed on the park's website. Tickets are ONLY valid on the day indicated in the "valid date" box at the top. See the calendar and opening hours at:  www.sommarland.no  or call +47 35 06 16 00. 
  • Tickets cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or discounts. As tickets are issued for a specific date or period, no changes or refunds will be permitted. See section 1.5 of the terms and conditions of purchase. Otherwise, the Consumer Purchase Act applies. 
  • Each ticket has a unique barcode that allows only ONE entry into the park. Once the barcode has been validated, it cannot be used at a later time. 
  • If you need to leave the park, you must contact park staff, security personnel or customer service to arrange new access to the park. If you leave the park without prior notice, you will no longer have access to the park.
  • If you have purchased a ticket that is subject to special conditions (people with disabilities, people over 60 years of age, children, etc.), you must document that you fall into such a category by referring to official documents (identification, documentation of functional ability, etc.) if requested by park staff or security personnel.
  • Please keep your ticket with you throughout your stay in the park. You must present your ticket to park staff upon request. 
  • Resale of tickets to third parties is prohibited. 
  • You are informed that the park may be closed due to bad weather or due to park capacity, safety or public health. Bø Sommarland will try to notify you as early as possible via the park's website and the park's official social media profiles. In such cases, we will offer you a new date for the use of entrance tickets or other appropriate compensation. 
  • The Park Rules,  https://www.sommarland.no/parkregler- , are hereby incorporated by reference. Purchase and use of any item available online constitutes your acceptance of both the terms of purchase and the Park Rules. 

4. FORCE MAJEURE

Bø Sommarland is not responsible for unsatisfactory conditions or closed facilities as a result of acts of war, natural disaster, national or regional strikes, disease outbreaks, pandemics, water or energy supply disruptions, fire or other similar events that no party involved could foresee or influence. Bø Sommarland has no obligation to refund or claim compensation for other financial losses that arise as a result of force majeure events or cancellations caused by this. This means that if an event is cancelled due to Force Majeure, the buyer will not be refunded for the expenses incurred, costs for tickets and various packages. Each party must bear its own loss. 

5. CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms and conditions of purchase shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Norwegian law. 

Bø Sommarland chooses Telemark District Court as the proper venue.
